J.J. Grayson Scholarship history

 J.J. Grayson, Charter Member

           Educator/Realtist® .

In 2009, the local chapter of the National Association Of Real Estate Brokers, Inc.; under the inspiration of our local president, Sherley Spears, presented its first Realtist® Scholarship Award to two young recipients named in honor of our one remaining active member, J. J. Grayson.  Mrs. Grayson is retired educator.  The scholarship fund is awarded annually as a primary community service project. Today we have distributed11 scholarships to deserving youths to assist them in realizing their dream of obtaining a college education.

In early March 2010, the local chapter was the recipient of the newly established 'Inspire, Educate and Enable" award from Wells Fargo Bank, for its programs and services to promote  financial literacy and real estate services to the city of Fort Worth. Partnerships like this one, allows the organization to provide educational programs in the community and present workshops and training programs to endless industry professionals.
